Farewell from the minister, Rev Sheila Blount...
"A huge" Thank You" to everyone who was involved in the generous presentations on my last Sunday, as I take early retirement through ill health. Thank you for all your care and support during a ministry which I have enjoyed so much. As we move to Glasgow, Graham is to be inducted as the new minister of St Enoch's Hogganfield on 1st September (at 7pm). May God's blessing and peace be with you all in each day that lies ahead, just as I know that He will be with me as I discover fresh ways to share His love."
The Interim Moderator is now Rev Caroline Taylor (see Contact us)
Welcome to the website which we are gradually updating with new information about "Cupar St John's and Dairsie United Parish Church". Our union took place on 1st January 2009 and we had a special Presbytery service to celebrate it on 1st February.
We are now one Church with two place of worship offering services each Sunday at Dairsie at 9.45am and at St John's at 11.15am
You are welcome to come along and be part of our worshipping congregation in either location. No previous experience necessary, just turn up and find out more.
The United Parish Church at St John's is in on the Bonnygate in Cupar, Fife and the United Parish Church at Dairsie is in the village of that name, about four miles apart along the main road. We are part of the national Church – The Church of Scotland.
Rev A Sheila Blount is minister of Cupar St John's and Dairsie United Parish Church. Formerly Cupar St John's Parish Church and Dairsie Parish Church were two charges linked in June 2005. Following three years of working towards the union, we are pleased to have now a united Kirk Session and also Session Teams leading the congregation, as together we serve our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
