- A warm welcome is extended to all who gather for worship and to any visitors. Please sign our Visitors’ Book in the vestibule.
- 9.45am Morning worship in the church at Dairsie led by Revs Sheila and Graham Blount.
- 11am Sunday Activities for children in the church hall at St John’s.
- 11.15am Morning Worship in the Church at St John’s led by Revs Sheila and Graham Blount.
- There will be a gathering after the service in the hall at St John’s with a buffet. Everybody is welcome and transport is available for members in Dairsie who wish to come in.
Wednesday 30th June
- 9.30-10am Half-hour midweek service in the church hall at St John’s followed by tea/coffee. All welcome.
- 7pm The congregation is cited to attend the Presbytery meeting in the Hall at St John’s. Those who wish to attend are asked to give their names by today, Sunday 27th June, to Muriel Dymock or to Carol Owen.
Friday 2nd July
- Gardening Group meets in the grounds at St John’s between 8.30am and 12noon. New members welcome
Sunday 4th July
- Morning worship 9.45am (church at Dairsie) led by Rev Alan Roy and 11.15am (church at St John’s) led by the Sunday Squad.
Church Roll
- The Church roll will be available for inspection after the service next Sunday and by arrangement during the following week.
Anniversary of the Reformation Postcards
- Following the recent talk from Prof Jane Dawson, there are some Anniversary of the Reformation post cards available as you leave.
Men & Boys Baking
- Disappointingly it looks as if there will not be a cook book as only seven men gave me a total of 13 recipes. Not enough for a cook book, gents! If you want me to go ahead, please submit a lot more by today, 27th June. Monica Mackay, Email: william.mackay@btinternet.com
Holiday Club 2010 – Rocky’s Plaice
- This year’s Holiday Club – Rocky’s Plaice - takes place from 2nd - 6th August in Cupar Old’s OPC. Invitations and registration forms are distributed through the local schools but forms are now also available in the organ corner at St John’s or from The Lighthouse. Anna Walks the Walk
- Anna Farmer completed the 80 plus miles of the Rob Roy Way walking from Drymen via Aberfoyle, Callender, Strathyre, Killin, Aberfeldy to Pitlochry in the company of her sister, Lorna and their brother-in-law Wullie and with husband Bobs' back-up. They encountered hailstones, rain, wind and very cold weather for the month of May. Anna has raised £1146.40 for her chosen charities. Help for Heroes and Age Concern, Cupar will each benefit from £573.20. On the 19th/20th June Anna also raised £177.50 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer when she completed the Moonwalk in Edinburgh. Grateful thanks to all her very generous sponsors who's encouragement makes it all worth while. Thank you all. Anna.
