Ecumenical Lent Group

In the Lighthouse for five weeks beginning on Tuesday 28^th February at 7.30 pm. • 2pm The annual making of Christingles for our Christmas Eve service will  take place in the hall at St John’s. With enough helpers and good humour the job should be complete in an hour. Everyone is very welcome.

• 11.15am Short Family Service in the Church at St John’s.  Bring along your favourite Christmas present.

• 11.15am Joint Service with Cupar Old in the Church at St John’s
• 2pm Afternoon walk leaving from the Church at Dairsie.

• 7.30pm  The Guild Presbyterial Council  is holding the annual Carol Service in St John's this year. We will be joined by members and friends from the St Andrew's Presbytery but this service is open to all. Please come and join us.

• 10-11.30am Members of the five Cupar churches will be singing carols at the Cross. The purpose? To remind shoppers about the true meaning of Christmas and invite them to worship with us over the festive season. Enthusiastic singers of any age and musicians are needed. Perhaps 5 from each congregation? Please contact Carrie Fox (01334-650257) if you can join in.

There will be a Christmas card delivery again this year. Cards can be brought on Sunday 11^th and Monday 12^th December. The cost will again be 15p per card. Cards will be ready for delivery on Tuesday 13^th December from 11am-12.30pm and on Wednesday 14^th from 10am-11am. There is a list on the table in the organ corner- we do need a lot of help with delivery to make this a success. If you can help with even part of a district, please put your name on the list.

Door Duty

We are looking for volunteers for door duty at our Christmas Eve services in the church at St John’s, at 6.30pm and 11pm, and on Christmas morning at 10.30am. Please speak to Doreen Smith (Tel 652635) if you can help.
